A red dot will be displayed next to the Ivy logo in the browser tab anytime there is an unresolved guest request for your hotel.

Web browser notifications are only supported by Google Chrome. If you do not have Google Chrome installed on your computer, you can download it here.

DESKTOP NOTIFICATIONS - Description of desktop notifications

Desktop alerts are a convenient way to be notified if you are not currently viewing the Ivy Console. For example, if you are in your PMS system and have the Ivy browser minimized, when a new a guest message is received, a desktop banner will appear in the upper right hand corner of your computer screen. 

Desktop notifications are only supported by the Google Chrome web browser. If you do not have Google Chrome installed on your computer, you can download it here.

To enable desktop notifications:

  1. Go to: chrome://settings/contentExceptions#notifications (you must copy/paste this into your web browser)
  2. Find "https://rev1.gomoment.com” in the list of settings.
  3. Change the dropdown option from "Block" to “Allow."

My Desktop Alerts Aren’t Working

If you feel your alerts are disabled, please follow these instructions to re-enable them:

If you are using the Chrome web browser

  1. First, go to: chrome://settings/contentExceptions#notifications
  2. Look for "https://rev1.gomoment.com” 
  3. if the drop down menu next to it says "Block" change it to Allow".

If you are using Firefox

  1. copy & paste "about:preferences#content" into your address bar, 
  2. look for "https://rev1.gomoment.com", then click "remove site". 
  3. After that, return to Ivy, the next time you load the page it will ask you if you would like notifications or not.

If you are using IE/Edge browser

  1. Go to settings, 
  2. then Advanced Settings, 
  3. then Notifications. 
  4. Then look for "rev1.gomoment.com" and flip the switch to "On.”
  5. If these do not work, ask them if their property recently added any software updates. Sometimes security tools will block the notifications.
