Removing a Guest Visit / Unsubscribe
You will never remove a guest from the staff console. If the guest does not want to text with Ivy, simply select the Message Template that says “Unsubscribe from Ivy” and send it to the guest. This message will prompt the guest to reply “unsubscribe” or “stop” and then will effectively remove the guest from receiving messages from Ivy.
Keep in mind, you have the option to Remove a Guest, but this is not recommended due to the interface with your PMS system. Ivy is checking in all in-house guests every 30 minutes, therefore, if you remove the guest, Ivy will check them back in and send them a Welcome Message.
